  • Easy to learn

  • Great components

  • Occasionally “messy”

  • Not great for mixed-age groups

In this game of speed and logic, players compete to create gelato orders. The first person to complete the order without dropping any scoops wins.

We love this game for parties and small get-togethers. No small feat for a logic game—there aren’t that many logic puzzles that work well for groups of little ones.

The rules are simple so kids can jump right in. The speed element adds excitement. And the game is flexible enough to allow play to wind down before the players get distracted, as can happen with longer games, even ones we love (we’re looking at you, Monopoly).

There’s also something absolutely (though not literally) delicious about these components—probably due to the super cute colors and quality materials.

As with most speed games, tension can escalate as players race against their competitors (we mean friends and siblings). So know your audience and make your own fun versus likelihood of tears assessment. Given the dexterity element, this game is probably best played by kids of similar ages.

Definitely not a game to play when noise levels need to be low. And the gelato scoops sometimes roll away during play.

The Yummy Logic Race!

Using 4 cones, 3 scoops, 2 hands, and 1 challenge card, fill your customers’ orders as quickly as you can! Pass the scoops back and forth between the cones, being careful to not touch or drop them. Work quickly to figure out the best way to satisfy your customer before your opponents do. Fill the order exactly like it looks on the card or you’ll lose the race and disappoint your customer. A tasty and engaging dexterity race that’s fun for everyone!
